We believe that by working together with parents, carers and the community, we can provide an education rich in first-hand experience. Our curriculum is supported by school visits and visiting speakers from charities and organisations. We make use of the community that is local to the school and the wider region when looking to enhance the opportunites that children have, as part of the curriculum.

We have established links with St Thomas’s Church and other local faith groups, as part of daily worship and RE lessons. We work well with members of the Mossley Big Local and have supported events and received funding from the organisation.

Frequent communication between home and school is encouraged. Parents are invited in for special assemblies and performances, curriculum workshops and other events. Please look out for details of these on our newsletters and website calendar.
