Message from Headteacher

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Abbey Primary School website, and as head teacher I am pleased you have come to visit us. At Abbey Primary School, our motto is to ‘Believe and Achieve’ and it is with this in mind that I add a message to all children to try your best each and every day. We ask this thinking, in attitude to learning, behaviour in and out of school and in all areas of school life.

We hope you find the information on the website useful and that it gives you an insight into the work of the school. At Abbey we are committed to providing breadth of opportunity and the highest possible standards of care and education for all children. We aim to make your child’s time with us as happy, enjoyable and successful as we possibly can. We are firmly committed to education as a partnership with parents/carers, staff and governors all working together to support your child’s learning. We hope that you and your child will find enjoyment and fulfilment during your time with us and that this important partnership will be a great success.

We aim for the highest possible standards in terms of behaviour, attitude, work and physical and creative achievement. Most of all we are immensely proud of our confident, caring, self-disciplined and independent pupils who make the most of every opportunity offered.

This website contains a lot of relevant information but we realise it may not answer all of your questions, so please contact us for any further information you require. We hope you will feel inspired to visit us and see for yourself the opportunities we offer.
